I'm Nimah, the tutor behind ALM Learning.
I bring together two things that don't usually sit in the same sentence: qualified English teaching, and real experience working inside professional and technical environments.
I believe learning is something that should grow with you — whatever stage of life or learning you're at.

I have practical experience helping children build confidence, strengthen their English skills, prepare for SATs, and succeed in GCSE English Language and Literature. Every lesson is patient, encouraging and thoughtfully tailored to your child’s individual learning style, needs and goals.
Alongside 1:1 and group tuition, I've also worked directly with young children in educational, home-educated and recreational settings, developing hands-on, sensory-based lesson plans and leading interactive group sessions for ages 2–12 — experience that shapes how I keep younger learners engaged, confident, and genuinely enjoying the process.

Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, providing a comprehensive foundation in teaching methods and classroom management.
Law & Arabic
Diploma of Higher Education in Law and Arabic. This background allows us to bridge the gap between legal English and technical English with precision.
